WOW – I have never seen kids torn up the house like this before. If you have ever watching a war torn in Iraq; well, our house was pretty much like that after the party was over at two o’clock in the morning. There were about twenty kids with the age range anywhere from one to twelve years old that came to Johnathan first birthday party . So you can imagine the house is like a war zone full with kids, and not to mention all the adults that came to the party as well. BUT, we were very happy that everyone enjoyed the party, especially all the kids. So here is Happy Birthday to the Birthday boy.

I am glad to be back to New York again from a short trip to Vietnam and back just in time for the holiday. For the last four years I have always been away from family during the holiday, so it’s rather wonderful to be able to spend time with the family again here in New York. Vietnam trip was rather half sad half fun; the saddest part was I just spent most of my time reminisced about my grandma past and her good deeds. When I was little, my mother usually ill-well (and she’s still until now) so most of the time my sibling and I had to stay with my grand mother so she could taking care of us and our needs. We had to stay with our grand mother for several years, one of the best thing when we lived with our grandparents is that my grand mother rarely yell at us, she usually let us play whenever we want and we can asked her for foods whenever we were hungry. She usually let us help her with her daily housekeeping tasks. But when I get little bit older and has to attend school, my grand mother and grand father had to regularly visited to my mother place during the day to help my mother taking care of me and the sibling. Now that grandma passed away all of that is just a good memory and soon will be a distance past. The fun part, I got the see all the relatives from my mother side include all the nices and nephews because everyone came for my grandma funeral, so it’s nice thing to see all of them again.
